Q. Jane, your church is booming with young families and tons of kids. How did that happen?
A. We have several events during the year with a very special guest, Apple John.

Q. Who is Apple John?
A. He is a highly trained professional children's entertainer, Ann, who uses his stage skills to bring biblical stories to life. His interactive high-energy approach includes balloons, humor, puppets, music, and special effects/illusions - a full stage production.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Q. So how did Apple John help your children's church to grow?
A. We advertised a special event with fliers and in the [free] community bulletin board section of our neighborhood paper, and 15 children showed up. The next time they all brought friends so we had about 35 children. What a success! Then it was 60 children; then it was 85 and so on. Now, we average about 125 each week

Q. Wow! What about the parents? Do any of them ever come to church?
A. Yes. And, the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors all come for special celebrations. After all, the number of visitors you have will ultimately determine your church growth.
